Join me for class on Saturdays 10-11AM for the remainder of the Spring Semester at the Hamel Recreation Center at University of New Hampshire. Class is open to students, faculty, staff, and members of the community.
Iyengar Yoga is a system of Yoga based on the teachings of B.K.S. Iyengar; rooted in the traditional wisdom and philosophy of Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras. Students will learn through an intelligent sequencing of poses, precise instruction, clear demonstration, the innovative use of props, and verbal feedback. Iyengar Yoga helps students establish strength, stamina, and concentration as well as mobility and flexibility. There is an emphasis on standing poses from which the principles of all the other asanas emerge. Certified Iyengar Yoga Teachers are trained to modify the yoga postures for individual student needs helping students of all ages and conditions through a rewarding yoga experience.
