Monday 7:00-8:00pm: Bare Bones Basics at Reflections Yoga Learn the fundamental building blocks of yoga and start your practice off on a clear and confident base. This class is designed to provide a healing and gentle approach to yoga poses and movements. It’s the ideal course for individuals who have never practiced yoga, someone fairly new to yoga but interested in slowing down and working on alignment, or a person coming back to yoga after a hiatus. Wednesday 9:45-10:45am Gentle Yoga for Seniors at Lenox Hill Senior Center As the body ages and changes it is important to keep it strong and limber. With the use of props including but not limited to; chairs, belts, yoga blocks, bolsters, and the wall we are able to make many poses available to all bodies. This class will offer seniors a chance to work on balance, coordination, strength training for strong bones and muscles, flexibility, breathing techniques, and relaxation. This class is free for NYC residents over the age of 60. Wednesday 4:45-5:45pm: Deep Stretch at Reflections Yoga An hour-long unwind from your day. This class is sequenced in such a way that each pose will prepare you for the next and the postures are held long enough for the body to settle down and move more deeply. This class will slowly, steadily, and safely stretch the body, improve your mobility, develop your awareness, and help you relax.  Register at

Thursday 12:30-1:30pm: Basic Flow at Reflections In Basic Flow, we will continue to focus on individual postures and fundamentals as we begin to link asanas through breath and movement. Teachers provide personalized attention and feedback to help strengthen your practice and get you comfortable as you move through poses. This class is great for an advanced beginner or for students working toward more familiarity with basic postures. Register at

Friday 10:30am-12pm: Alignment-Based Yoga at BronxArtSpace Through a partnership between the breath and asanas (postures) Alignment-based Yoga will strengthen and stretch the body with a clear focus on alignment, body awareness, and breathing.
