Prenatal yoga prepares the mind and body for childbirth and relieves common discomforts of pregnancy such as backache, siactica and difficultly sleeping. With this practice you will learn; postures and movement to ease discomfort in the body, creative visualizations, abdominal and pelvic floor toning, vocal release, pranayana breathing, guided relaxation and other helpful tools.
Lisa has been helping pregnant women and couples prepare for childbirth since 2007. Many of her prenatal yoga students benefit so greatly from her classes have her assist their birth as their Birth Doula. Lisa Kazmer received her yoga teaching certification from OM Yoga Center and is a DONA trained Birth Doula. She has completed numerous women’s yoga and prenatal trainings with Janice Clarfield, Bec Conant, Leslie Howard and Bobby Clennell. She has traveled to India and studied Yoga Asana, Pranayama, and Yogic Philosophy from respected teachers, Sri Sheshadri and Sri BNS Iyengar.
