I will be guest teaching Slow Flow Yoga the first week of March at Yoga Manila‘s Makati Studio.
Class Description: Through the partnership between breath and movement, this practice will strengthen and stretch the body with a clear focus on alignment, body awareness, and breathing, calling upon her studies in both the Ashtanga and Iyengar styles. Lisa’s approach to teaching yoga is hands-on, intuitive, precise, and fun. She sees the yoga studio as a safe, sacred space in which we have the opportunity to work through all the temperaments of the body and mind. She has a nurturing quality to her teaching and specializes in adapting the yoga postures to work with any body. Her intention is for students to leave class feeling strong, spacious, tuned in, and grounded in the nature of their body. This open level flow class will be appropriate for all levels of experience.
