Verbal communication is one of our greatest tools as a yoga teacher. It has the power to sculpt the energy of a space, refine the execution of a yoga asana, and prompt shifts in the mind and spirit of our students.
During this mid-day Sangha we will explore how the voice, sound, music, and language impact our teaching. We will touch on the concept of “stepping into our voice as a teacher” and do a few collaborative exercises together to get the creative juices flowing.
SINGAPORE YOGA TEACHER SANGHA is supportive, inclusive, respectful, and collaborative space for yoga teachers of various styles who are based in Singapore to gather, share, and learn from one another. Our meetings are an open forum to discuss the many facets of teaching yoga, a place to share resources, ask questions, give answers, and build community.
COST: This is a free gathering with the intentions of leaving richer in spirit than you entered but…
PLEASE RSVP to the Facebook invite accordingly and honor your booking as a commitment so that we know how many to expect. Also, do your best to arrive on time.
CONTRIBUTE YOUR WISDOM: This Sangha is all about the co-creative potential of community. If there is something you specialize in, a topic you are particularly interested in, or a facet of teaching yoga you would like to lead a discussion around, please consider sharing your wisdom in upcoming gathering. *THIS* is the magic of this group. If you are not sure how to turn your idea into a group offering, chat with Lisa and she can help you facilitate the experience.
